Celebrating ACCOMPLISHMENTS

accomplishments

Last year we had a great thought:  let’s share what our kids living with autism ACCOMPLISHED that year. We hear all about the major efforts living with autism but how about accomplishments to hopefully inspire others and to enjoy our achievements together.  Our kids work so hard overcoming obstacles. Let’s share those victories.

An incredible thing happened:  hundreds of stories and pictures came in.  You can read a selection of these stories here http://www.flickr.com/photos/talkaboutcuringautism/sets/72157632301247683/.

To ring in 2014, we are asking TACA families to share 2013 celebrations. Here is what you need to do:

TACA Families Celebrations 2013

What are you celebrating this year? It may be a huge milestone or it may be something small. No matter the size, TACA gets it! Take a picture that shows us what you’re celebrating this season so TACA families can celebrate with you!

Email your pictures to Holly@tacanow.org and tell us what you’re celebrating. Don’t forget to tell us your child’s first name. One photo per child, please!

I love seeing these pictures and stories of some inspiring kids making milestones and melting our hearts. These kids are my heroes. I cannot wait to see your story and accomplishments for 2013.  We will be sharing these on TACA’s Facebook page and Flickr account for all to enjoy!
