We are so excited to announce the brand new TACA Podcast! This is an expansion of our intentional dialogue that we long to have with families around the country about real life, challenges, triumphs, best practices, and best therapies that exist today. It is our hope that we will be able to reach more families, spread hope in new ways and encourage all of you through the podcast! We are aiming to interview a variety of different experts, family members and friends who will be able to share their unique experience with Autism and encourage all of us to think outside the box, push ourselves (even when we want to give up), and believe that anything is possible for our kids!
We also talked about the Friends & Family Campaign that launches every April to spread awareness and raise money for TACA!! We enjoyed hearing her share about how this campaign has touched her family and how it allows TACA to continue to support and encourage North Dakota families that might otherwise be lost on their journey! With the hashtag social media campaign of #AutismTough we made sure to talk about some of the tough things about her story and even how she and her family have found their TOUGH through TACA and other amazing resources in her area!
Family Ski Trip— You never know what might be out there for adaptive programs with your next family vacation as Janice said—don’t be afraid to ask—don’t be afraid to go first. Big shout out to Bottneau Winter Park for being awesome and showing us all that together we can make a way for everyone to experience exciting, life changing actives if we just say yes!
